Fashion

When I was introduced to the fashion world, I was immediately drawn to clothing and style, and soon I began to look up to fashion icons such as Modana, Whitney Houston, and Princess Diana. I also gained knowledge from industry professionals.
After high school, I pursued a formal education in fashion design, attending Columbia College Chicago and working as an apprentice for an established fashion designer. I learned the skills necessary to create my own designs, such as sketching, pattern-making, and sewing.
Throughout the years, I continued to learn and grow, seeking out new trends and techniques to incorporate into my designs. With my brand established, I then launched my first collection on February 14, 2022, showcasing the designs to the world and releasing my designs online.

“Construct of morales”

“Construct Of Morales” focuses on upcycling concepts such as material reconstruction art techniques, and ready-to-wear patterns. The show was created by the state of being and knowing one’s presence, to reflect one’s individuality. The pieces combine cultural art And evoke emotional power to convey the values of environmental combat, government rebellion, and social commentary.
As we continues to grow with each piece forming a new dress, jacket, and everyday wear to empower through the youth and women leaders in todays leadership roles. Doing so with a combining of Americana folklore and asian elements. With fine sewing and a little bit chaos of up-cycling. An ever-evolving story continues to unfold with our world changing.

“Chicago fashion week”

Fashion Bar LLC powers Chicago Fashion Week, and during the 9th season, I was fortunate enough to participate this event as one of the designers for the “Urban and Street Wear Show”, which highlights the urban culture and intersecting trends throughout the evolution of fashion.

SHOWCASE

SHOWCASE

“We often let the exhibits speak for themselves, as with the recent Noir exhibit that featured a collaboration between an Art and Art History graduate student, a Chicago artist, and the Fashion Studies Department. Sometimes we offer extensive critical analysis in the label copy, as with our fur, leather, and Appropriate Dress exhibits,” Reid said.
As a former student from Columbia College Chicago, I was invited by Dr. Colbey Emmerson Reid, Professor, and Chair of the Fashion Studies Department at Columbia College Chicago, to showcase my fantastic work for the window display.
